EAA Chapter 1710 – Uphaven – Connecting Families to Lifesaving Care

Uphaven is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit that helps families stay connected to pediatric medical care and to each other. They coordinate free flights for families traveling to and from healthcare facilities in the Milwaukee area with the help of volunteer pilots.

Flying has been a passion of his since childhood, but always been most moved by the way flight connects people, creating presence, carrying love, and serving as a bridge to healing and hope. His wife Tracy and him founded Uphaven after the life and loss of our daughter, Leni, revealed just how important it is for families to be together during a child’s healthcare journey.

88.5 FM The Family Radio Network will once again host the Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive, benefiting neighbors right here in our community.

Thanks to your participation in 2025, $7,654.82 worth of hygiene and diaper products were distributed through Compassionate Connections Center to families in need. All donations remain in the community where they are collected.

We invite you to consider participating again in 2026. In the Clintonville area, collections will support:

If your group or organization is willing to host a collection box, please reply to Leah at leah@compassionateconnect.com.

Collection boxes with posters will be delivered prior to Feb. 22 and picked up the week of March 15.
